Learning and Teaching
Quality assurance around curriculum delivery is key to the success of Navitas programs and is overseen by the partner university. Navitas’ Learning and Teaching (L&T) principles underpin Navitas curriculum excellence products and processes such as faculty engagement and support across disciplines through professional development programming and faculty networks and advisory groups.
Navitas instructors are chosen carefully among the faculties who are most committed to teaching and supporting international students with their transition to academic studies in the Canadian higher education system. Our teachers thrive on close relationships with their students and enjoy being part of a community that is working holistically to support international student development, wellness, and success.
Navitas instructors adapt their current teaching practices to support students. Instructors are not only subject matter experts with experience in teaching and learning, but also willing to share their passion for their field of study, giving students opportunities to better understand the various fields of study offered on-campus, thereby promoting their respective faculties and departments.
Green Apple, an e-magazine launched in 2020, recognizes and celebrates the knowledge, professionalism and compassion of Navitas staff, with articles written by Navitas educators from around the world. Read this latest issue here.
