The Stories That Made Us: Dr. Greg Smith
The Stories That Made Us project is a celebration of Navitas’ legacy over the past 30+ years that has seen the company grow from one pathway college in Perth, Australia, to the global organization that it is today. The project is a curated collection of memories and reflections from people who have been part of the Navitas journey including staff, students, university partners, and more.
“Becoming a partner with Navitas has allowed the University of Manitoba to pursue a number of its goals of internationalization and diversification of its student body. This has allowed us to reach a different kind of market of students, and also bring the opportunity for post-secondary education to students who are interested in coming to Canada and looking for maybe a different experience, a different market – while enjoying all that Winnipeg and Manitoba can offer.”
Dr. Greg Smith is the Vice-Provost (Academic Planning and Programs) at the University of Manitoba. The university has been our partner in Canada since 2008 when together we opened the International College of Manitoba (ICM). Based on UM’s campus, ICM offers a Foundation program and a range of University Transfer Programs to international students from all over the world.
